Summer Term 2023

Dearest Singers,

Just a quick note to let you know that the new term starts tonight. All the information you will need to know for the term is in this email.

I am going to start saving newsletters on the home page of the website, so these will all be available here for future reference if you need to check the info.

Please note that there is roadworks taking place on the road leading up to the venue, so there is limited car access. This will all be back to normal next week. Please see below for other important information for this term. Info here:

Got lots of lovely new songs that we will begin working on tonight, really looking forward to singing with you all later today!

Lots of love,

Aaron and the Team

Islington Council have scheduled renovation works to the Main Hall and attached lobby and rooms, to commence on Monday 5th June 2023.

The works are estimated to take between 2 - 4 weeks.

During this time we will temporarily be relocated to the small hall, still on the same premises. This room is slightly smaller, however, we will still have plenty of room with access to chairs. The small hall has large patio doors which open out onto the garden, and so if the weather is nice, there is the option for us to sing in the garden.

On the weeks ahead of the temporary move, we will be shown how to access the room from the outside.

Wednesday 5th July is our final week before we end the term and we take a break over the Summer period. Please make a note of the details below. You can find the information for the start of the Autumn term lower down in this email.

Rehearsal will start as usual, at 6:30 pm, and we will recap all the songs we will sing. Feel free to wear something bright, colourful or summery - or come as you are!

Please invite your friends and family to join us from 7:30 pm, on the 5th July.

We can have a party following the singing, so please bring nibbles, drinks and treats to share!

Your very first session with the choir is free for you to try out. If you'd like to join us, you may choose from the payment options below.

Full term fees: £99 Concession: £79

The concession is available for those who would otherwise not be able to afford the full fee - regardless of employment status or age. We aim to keep the choir fees as low as possible. This is reviewed on a termly basis, and where there is an opportunity to reduce the price, this will be implemented. Camden Harmony Singers is an inclusive choir, so if the above fee would prevent you from being able to join us, please speak with one of the trustees.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque or BACS.
