I hope you're all doing well. Just a quick note to let you all know that we are back this Wednesday, 24th April for the start of our new term.
This term we are going to be working on the Sing for Water Repertoire, there's some lovely songs that we will be working on, preparing for a big sing with choirs from all around the country in September, up on the banks of the river Thames.
If you've not managed to come along to a session yet (or haven't been for a while) now is the perfect time to come and join us as we will be start to learn a whole new set of songs - new members are welcome to come along to their first session for free!
SING FOR WATER
Sing for Water is a unique and uplifting outdoor riverside choral event that takes place in September as part of Totally Thames bringing together choirs from across the UK to raise money and awareness for WaterAid.
During our Summer Term, we will be learning most of the songs from the Sing for Water set list for this year. I would love to be able to teach all of the songs, however there simply isn't enough time within our ten weeks to cover all of them. There are, however, online learning resources and pop-up rehearsals throughout the summer which you will be welcome to go along to; info on the pop-ups will be available soon!
If you would like to come along to Sing for Water, you must register your place using this online form: CLICK HERE. You will need to contribute £5 to reserve your space.
You must also let me know that you are going to be coming along - there will be a sign up sheet on the door from the beginning of term.
